Vintage Celestron 5 Telescope

Vintage Celestron 5 Telescope. Condition is "Used" very nice, clean condition.
This is an early "Celestron Pacific" Schmidt Cassegrain telescope circa 1978.
It is in very good condition with a few scrapes on the finder scope orange tube. The ocular is a Tele Vue 26 MM Plossl Made in Japan.
The forks and drive base are in excellent condition with no scratches or corrosion.
All lenses are clean with no abrasions or scratches.
The instrument comes with the original 1978 manual, the drive power cord and the original trunklike packing case with the interior foam somewhat dried out and the case itself with some exterior rust and only in fair condition.

All in all this scope is a rare item and is sought after as a high quality, U.S. made (except for the Japanese lens described) telescope and is a collector's item as well as a usable Schmidt Cassegrain telescope.
