Refractive Telescope (Single Element)

Description

Downward looking telescope for airborne or seaborne lidar or other  project. Huge light gathering aperture (18" diameter)! 27" focal length. Optical material is UV grade fused silica which allows a very wide spectral range. This lens cost ,000 and took 6 months to grind. Very special optic for government, university, or corporate research lab.
Includes mount for detector and light shield.
The lens is in pristine shape. There are no scratches, nicks or mars on it. As good as the day it was made.
