    The Portable Winch works on a capstan principle where there is no limit to the length of rope used. Just tie the rope to the object needing to be pulled and wind the rope 3-4 times around the drum. The drum continues to rotate while the engine is running and the friction created by pulling on the free end of the rope pulls the object.
    Lightweight and compact, the Portable Winch can be carried virtually anywhere over long distances, making it much more convenient to move around an off-road setting without trouble.
