The setting circles allow you to dial in coordinates similar to “latitude and longitude” to find specific stars and constellations. Given time, patience and the right conditions, you’ll view the rings of Saturn, the Moons of Jupiter, deep space star clusters, incredible views of our Moon and much, much more.
Our Deluxe Kit
With your new 114mm Newtonian Reflector Telescope, you will receive a universal smartphone adapter which connects any smart phone to the eyepiece (or almost any other optical device) in seconds. Our red 9-LED flashlight is perfect for low-light use which helps keep your pupils dilated while reading star maps. Plus we're including Star & Constellation Finder a .95 value - this portable guide reveals a microfiche star map when looking through the viewer and shows the exact alignment of the stars.
Last but not least you will receive Scientifics Famous Star & Planet Locator an 8 1/2" square star chart that was plotted by the late astronomer and cartographer George Lovi. The reverse side of the locator is packed with additional data on the planets, meteor showers and bright stars.
