Description
1970s Celestron 5-inch, 750mm f/6 SCT (Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope) Telephoto Lens / Spotting Scope. The clear aperture (diameter of main mirror) of the telescope is 5 inches. These older Celestron C5s came in two focal lengths: the C5 f/10 (1250mm focal length), and the C5 f/6 (750mm focal length). This is the spotting scope/telephoto version in black with a simple tripod attachment. With an eyepiece attached it is a spotting scope/telescope. With a photographic back attached it is a long and relatively fast 750mm f/6.0 telephoto lens. The coatings are flawless - the corrector has the multi-later HE coating - you can see the 'Special Coatings" label in the 6th image. The photographic back attaches to a camera with a T-mount. A photographic back is included. You will need a T-mount, one which fits whichever camera you will be using. Also includes front and rear caps, tripod mount and hard case, diagonal and eyepiece.
