Bali Handheld Balinese Bamboo Sisal Percussion Knocker Clacker Instrument

Up for auction is a lovely eco-friendly percussion instrument that was made in Bali. Handheld style. You hold it and swing it to and fro, which caused the mallets to hit up against the bamboo and create a really cool “knocking” sound. The sound reminds me of a woodpecker or something. You can control the rhythm and intensity of the knocks by how softly/slowly or quickly you move your wrist/hands to use the knocker. Very fun instrument.  Knocker is in overall very good condition aside from a few hairline cracks in the bamboo which don’t affect the playability or sound.
Rattle measures slightly over 8” tall and 1.75” wide (diameter of round bamboo base).
