    Description

We are pleased to offer a fabulous condiment caddy from the Penn Athletic Club of Philadelphia.  It has an Art Nouveau style and was made by Gorham Mfg Co.  It has a great look and it retains what appear to be its original glass cups.  The bottom is also stamped D W Haber & Son, New York, a well known supplier of dinnerware to restaurants and hotels.
The Penn Athletic Club was founded circa 1922 by Olympic rower John "Jack" B. Kelly, Sr.  He joined forces with a local rowing club and Penn AC Rowing Association became one of the best clubs in the city thanks to Kelly's influence.  The Club existed until the 1950s.
We have pieces from other clubs listed as well as other flatware and holloware from hotels, military and transportation venues.  We are always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases so please check our other items.
    Condition:
Very good - much less than the usual wear and scratches typical of hotel or restaurant plate.  Please see photos - it's in very good condition.  The glass jars are very good as well with only a few flea bites on the rim of one of them.
    Size:
6 3/4" square with rounding at the front edge, jars range from 1 3/4" to 2" tall, handle is 4 1/2" tall.
