Pair Victorian Tiffany & Co. Soldered Silver Pepperettes
Sweet pair of late 19th century silver plated pepperettes by Tiffany & Co. c.1890
Art nouveau influence of bulbous fluted bodies and cast flower and foliage detail around the top of the pots
Set on a collet base with 4 lion paw feet and arabesque detail
The lids are marked Tiffany & Co.
Makers Silver Soldered and the model number 10582
Silver soldered was Tiffany's very good quality silver plate and references their use of hard silver solder at all the joints
They measure 6.5cm (2 1/2") high and 3.2cm (1 1/4") wide
Monogrammed
Condition is very good ~ one shaker lid does not slide all the way into the body so Tiffany mark shows
Surface scratches
consistent with age ~ one shaker has surface mark on body under monogram
