ANTIQUE HENRY WILKINSON SHEFFIELD Silverplate 3-Piece Serving Dish
Silverplate muffin warmer, three piece serving dish from Henry Wilkinson. Puff shaped dome top with an insert tray.
Lovely details, copper rims outline unique shape of the dish.
The classic use for this dish is to fill the bottom with warm water and the top with breads, muffins, pancakes or other breakfast items to keep warm throughout the meal service.
This is an understated and delightful antique piece that is easy to own with many uses.

In Good condition with wear commensurate with age & use ~ A very tiny chip on the insert tray (see last photo under the number 7) which you can feel sharpness when you run your hand on the edge, but it fits tightly into larger dish and it is not visible.Some surface scratches inside the larger dish which are covered when the insert tray sits in it. The piece presents beautifully and the plating is in great shape. Only the outer dish has maker's mark stamped on the underside. Please see all photos for full condition.
