Victorian cut glass and silver-plated footed compote a.k.a. "epergne"
made by Elkington & Co., Birmingham, England, bearing date mark for 1884-1885
Features a generous cut-glass bowl a with leaf-and-berry trim ring, raised on a base with three foliated arms and branch-form standard, on a pierced leaf-and-berry base. Marked underneath.
9 inches high, 10 inches diameter. Weighs about five pounds.
VGC with wear commensurate with age. Cut glass bowl does not have chips breaks cracks or anything beyond expected wear.
