    Description

1973 First National Coinage of Barbados
A classically beautiful set produced by the Franklin Mint.
As the accompanying letter states, this was the first national coinage in the countries 350 year history.
The coins are still in their protective plastic, which is great because the packaging has suffered some serious exposure to moisture, which is visible on all parts of the casing and paperwork.
The Five Dollar Coin is .800 Silver / Ten Dollar Coin .925 Sterling.
